Agents of Change: Overhauling DEI in the Music Industry

One of the most important challenges facing not only the music industry but also the world is how to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. From overhauling hiring practices, to paying interns, to hosting regular Days of Service, there are many things that companies can do to make their workplace more well-rounded and accommodating for all people.

In this panel, the 2023 “Agent of Change” Bizzy Award nominees sat down with Tony D. Alexander, President & Managing Director of last year’s winner, Made in Memphis Entertainment (MIME). Together, they discussed how they are promoting DEI in their organizations, shared tips for other companies who are looking to improve their efforts, and explained why DEI is good for business.
